Both bags are made for two to three days. Marent (35 litres) gives the most room, Valen (32 litres) is more compact and 350 grams lighter.
A duffel is traditionally a soft, cylindrical bag. A weekender has more structure and organisation. Marent and Valen combine both: the shape of a duffel, the interior of a weekender.
Yes. Both have a padded laptop compartment for laptops up to 16 inches.
Valen weighs 1.6 kg and Marent 1.95 kg, empty. A little heavier than canvas, in exchange for structure and a much longer life.
Full-grain nappa is sturdier, ages well and lasts for years. Canvas is lighter but looks worn sooner.
Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth, feed it now and then with a conditioner for full-grain leather, and keep it out of direct sun. Read the full care guide.
